We are outdoors all year round
Idyllically located in the middle of the forest, with a panoramic view over the city of Drammen and the fjord, we use every day for play, exploration, and lots of fun outside. We go on trips to Hakkebakkeskogen, Blektjern, and Hestejordet, or play at our own forest playground, "Sulpen."
Why do we play all the time?
"Child First" is more than our slogan; it is also the name of our research- and experience-based method. It helps us see, listen to, and meet your child, to create security, friendship, and mastery. As employees, we aim to develop and train to recognize, understand, and act. Central to this is play, and it is the way we play that makes all the difference.
All learning happens through play, and because your child should look forward to coming to us every day, the everyday experience must be safe, developmental, and full of fun!
Healthy food, every day
As a full-service kindergarten, we offer three tasty meals every day – breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. We emphasize a healthy diet to promote well-being and energy in everyday life, as well as to foster joy in eating!
The first time in kindergarten
Many children have a little extra need to experience security and recognition during the first period, together with you as a parent. We need to take the time to get to know each other and create a safe environment.
And we always have a lap to spare.
