At Eventyrlia FUS Kindergarten, you will be greeted by warm, present, and passionate adults who are dedicated to creating safety, magical moments, and lifelong memories for your child.
Outdoors and indoors
We are beautifully and centrally located in Mortensrud, with everything set up for lots of play and fun, both outdoors and indoors. Walks in the forest in all kinds of weather provide room for wonder and exploration. Are there sharks in the huge puddle, and do worms turn into snakes when they grow up?
Play and friendship
"Child First" is not just our slogan; it is also our method. It helps us see, listen, take children seriously, and create the best conditions for play and magical moments. All learning happens through play, and it is the way we play that makes all the difference. We divide into smaller groups to get closer to the children, giving more space to each individual, which in turn creates security and friendship.
Food
When you enter our gates, you will experience the delightful aroma of both homemade warm lunches and freshly baked bread made by our own kitchen assistant, Anees. We are committed to ensuring that the food we serve is healthy and made from scratch, with good ingredients. The food should smell good and taste good, and we provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere around the table. This allows for exciting and educational conversations and interactions. This is how we build healthy little bodies from the ground up.
Our Valuable Diversity
Here, there is a rich mix of languages, cultures, and backgrounds, and we see diversity as the best resource for learning, respect, and unity. We have a good atmosphere throughout the house, everyone knows everyone, and we are genuinely concerned that you will thrive and feel seen. We are open and welcome your feedback. If there is anything you are wondering about, are worried about, disagree with, or want to discuss, we will listen and try to solve it together.
The first days
Many children have a little extra need for security and recognition in the beginning. You know your child best, so it is important that we get to know each other well and that you feel confident in us who work here. Leading up to the start, we have weekly visiting days and invite you to a welcome conversation at the kindergarten or at your home. Feel free to read more about the first days in kindergarten here.
